When does recipient support go out?
Recipient support is delivered or sent on the 1st of each month. We update our reporting sheet to reflect it. Sent, delivered, and bank-cleared payments can have different dates. Ask us about the timing or status of a particular gift.
03 · Rally your community
If not us, who?
If not now, when?
Turn school pride and community care into a friendly challenge. Start with one team, one shared goal, and the people who believe in it.
- Create or join a teamAn adult organizer chooses a cause and selects “Join the Challenge.” Give the team a clear name and location.
- Share your own pageSet your goal and share the team link. Supporters can credit their gifts to your team.
- Share a progress updateFollow your total, welcome supporters, and invite another community to take part.
Challenge pages and live team totals open on Givebutter. A directory listing is not a registered team. Teams appear as organizers join; unregistered schools are not ranked. Fundraising credit does not confirm an official partnership or a transfer to a recipient.

Donation questions.
Can I give without joining a team?
Yes. Choose your cause above and use its donation form. A team is optional. For school, library, and public-safety gifts, enter the intended recipient’s full name and location.
How do I manage my team or donation?
Open the challenge page for your cause and sign in to the Givebutter account you used to register. Your fundraising account manages your page. Use the links in your donation receipt to manage a recurring gift or get help.
What if my school is missing?
Request a listing or correction with the school’s public name, city, state, and website. Our team reviews requests; sending one does not automatically create a partnership or fundraising team.
Do children have to sell anything?
No. There are no student sales quotas. Adults handle fundraising accounts and donations; children can take part in learning, encouragement, and community activities.
Is the SmartSlaps Academy open?
The Academy is a future vision for accessible education, guided self-study, and community resources. It is not operating or enrolling students. Explore the vision.
