The financial picture

What each reporting figure measures.

These figures cover all available reporting periods. They are separate measures and should not be added together. Donations, issued support, personal investment, and the bank balance tell different parts of the story.

Our recipient distribution schedule

Support goes out on the 1st.

Recipient support is delivered or sent on the 1st of each month. We update our reporting sheet to reflect it. Sent, delivered, and bank-cleared payments can have different dates. Ask us about the timing or status of a particular gift.

Read the latest record date shown above. Reloading this page retrieves the reporting source; it does not certify that the sheet has been reconciled through today.

Community ownership includes accountability

Check fundraising, recipient payments, and reported use.

Donors, parents, recipients, and neighbors should be able to follow support beyond a fundraising total. Children can explore these questions with a trusted adult: what was promised, what reached the mission, and what changed?

  1. Money raised: review the relevant campaign and team leaderboard. A campaign total is not the same as a cleared bank deposit or a recipient payment.
  2. Support delivered: search the ledger by recipient. Read whether support is issued, outstanding, or cleared. Ask for the disbursement record when you need to confirm delivery.
  3. Use and results: look for the recipient’s dated update and supporting documents. An amount raised or issued does not prove a purchase, completed activity, or outcome.

For participating organizers: share your goal, fundraising progress, confirmed support received, and the use or result you can document. Label pending amounts and plans clearly. Ask SmartSlaps to clarify a missing or disputed record.

Our ledger contains the records currently supplied by the Foundation. It is not an automatic bank feed or a live audit of every participating recipient. Missing information means a question remains open; it is not a finding of misuse.

Include the recipient, approximate date, amount, and the question you want answered. Keep bank details, donor contact information, and children’s identities out of public updates.

Documents behind the mission

Supporting documents and record requests.

Public documentation and a direct way to request supporting records. Private bank details, information identifying children, and other protected information may be redacted.

Ask about a record.
