How to start

1

Identify an authorized lead

An outreach representative confirms the activity, audience, quantities, and setting. Keep the activity separate from the collection of patient or child medical information.

2

Let qualified staff teach

Use the organization's reviewed educational materials. This SmartSlaps guide does not provide diagnosis, treatment, clinical procedures, or certification.

3

Give a clear next step

Help families find the SmartSlaps starting instructions and the existing Guardian page. Children may explain what they learned without any money handling or donation task.

Try one simple activity

Invite participants to ask an appropriate, general question about the role of an EMS professional or outreach team and describe one thing they learned.

Requesting SmartSlaps

One adult representative requests quantities for the agreed activity. No patient names, health histories, or child-identifying records belong in the request.

What to expect

We send the SmartSlaps. Parents, educators, and community partners access the instructions and program resources online. Requests are reviewed and fulfilled as funding and inventory allow.

Physical delivery includes the confirmed SmartSlaps and a brief printed guide to the online instructions. Decorative boxes, individual wrapping, laminated guides, and a full printed packet are not the standard delivery.

Participation is educational and voluntary. A SmartSlap is not a medical credential, health assessment, or instruction to perform care.

The purpose stays the same

Learning, communication, responsibility, and community connection come first. The envelope QR opens instructions. Existing SmartSlap codes keep their established learning or support destinations.
